A really nice Sterling Silver Claddagh Ring made by us here in our Wicklow workshop - we have to confess that we have a soft spot for the Claddagh. Its origin goes back to the 16th Century when Richard Joyce made the first ring for his wife in honour of her Love, Loyalty and Friendship. A tradition evolved if you wear the ring with the crown nearest the fingernail it indicates that your Heart is taken - if the heart points to the fingernail it means your Heart is Free.
- Made in Wicklow from .925 Sterling Silver, also available in White or Yellow Gold - Handmade and Hallmarked in Ireland - The Ring measures 8mm from the tip of the Heart to the top of the Crown, the band is 3mm wide - Traditional Irish Claddagh Design - Symbol of Love, Loyalty and Friendship
